Revisiting Day One: The Heart Behind the Launch
Today, we’re taking a moment to look back — back to the very beginning. This is a heartfelt throwback to our original launch post, first shared when Healing Earth Essentials officially stepped into the world on September 15, 2014.
In this blog post, we’ve also included a special photo — the very first one taken of my mom and me, just before we did our first-ever farmers’ market. I’ll never forget that moment. It marked the quiet start of something sacred — a small table, a handful of handmade products, and a heart full of hope.

Dear friends,
Today marks a truly meaningful milestone — the launch of the Healing Earth Essentials website, officially opening its doors on September 15, 2014.
This isn’t just the beginning of an online shop — it’s the unfolding of a journey that began long ago in a kitchen filled with herbs, love, and legacy. Healing Earth Essentials was created out of necessity, shaped by experience, and rooted in the quiet, powerful desire to live a life of no regrets, deep purpose, and healing from the inside out.
If you're just discovering us, I invite you to explore our story — one that weaves together generational wisdom, a season of soul-searching through illness, and a renewed passion for creating products that genuinely support sensitive skin and whole-body wellness. (I’ll be sharing more of that journey in an upcoming blog post.)
And — something special: in this blog post, I’ve included the very first photo ever taken of my mom and me, just before we did our first farmers’ market together. At Healing Earth Essentials, we believe that beauty deepens with time — and that every line, freckle, and change in our skin tells a story worth honoring. That belief inspired the creation of our Lines of Legacy collection.
This line was born from a desire to celebrate the wisdom we wear, the generations that came before us, and the quiet rituals that remind us we are cared for — body, mind, and soul.
For me personally, this collection is a tribute to the women who shaped me — my innovative grandmother who first taught me the art of handcrafted skincare, and my mother who walked beside me through illness, healing, and the early seasons of this business. Their strength, creativity, and love are woven into every jar and drop.
Lines of Legacy is for the skin that’s evolved, matured, softened — not to reverse time, but to honor the story it tells. It’s skincare that’s deeply nourishing, barrier-supportive, and gentle enough for sensitive skin — created with botanical richness and soul.
